Introduction

Welcome to Chuuse. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, talent placement services, and workforce solutions (together, the "Services"), operated by Chuuse in Nigeria.

By submitting an enquiry, engaging us to hire, or being placed through Chuuse as talent, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Our Services

Chuuse provides two connected offerings:

• Talent placement: sourcing, screening, and placing candidates against roles that companies bring to us.
• Workforce solutions: payroll processing, compliance support, onboarding, documentation, and ongoing HR operations for placements, available as a bundle alongside a hire.

Specific scope, timelines, and any fees for a given engagement are agreed with you directly and are supplementary to these Terms.

Company Responsibilities

If you engage Chuuse to hire or manage talent, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the role, team, and expectations.
• Maintain the confidentiality of any account or process credentials shared with you.
• Use candidate information we provide only for the purpose of evaluating and making the hire.
• Pay agreed fees on the schedule set out in your engagement.
• Not engage or solicit a candidate we've introduced outside of Chuuse to avoid recruitment fees, within the period specified in your engagement.

Talent Responsibilities

If you are placed through Chuuse, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during screening, including work history and documentation required for onboarding.
• Perform the role in good faith and in line with the terms agreed with the hiring company.
• Cooperate with any compliance or documentation requirements tied to the workforce solutions bundle, where applicable.

Fees and Payment

• Fees vary by engagement and are agreed before work begins.
• Payments are non-refundable once a placement is confirmed, except as covered by the replacement guarantee below.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing for new engagements at any time; changes do not affect fees already agreed in writing.

Replacement Guarantee

If a placement is not working out within the first two weeks, we will replace the candidate at no additional recruitment cost. This guarantee extends to 30 days from the candidate's start date, with one covered replacement per role. The guarantee does not cover terminations resulting from role scope changes, restructuring, or reasons unrelated to candidate fit or performance.

Workforce Solutions Bundle

Where a company opts into the workforce solutions bundle, Chuuse administers payroll, compliance support, and onboarding documentation for the placement. Chuuse acts as the operational administrator of these services; the underlying employment or engagement relationship, and its terms, remain as agreed between the company and the talent unless a separate managed-employment arrangement has been signed. Payroll disbursements are processed on the schedule agreed with the company; delays caused by incomplete documentation from either party are not the responsibility of Chuuse.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology on the Chuuse website and platform are owned by or licensed to Chuuse and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the platform without our written permission.

Confidentiality

Both companies and talent may share confidential information with Chuuse in the course of a placement or engagement. We treat such information as confidential and use it only for the purposes of delivering our Services, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Chuuse works to vet and place talent responsibly, but we cannot guarantee the ongoing performance, conduct, or continued employment of any individual we place. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Chuuse's liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services for any party that breaches these Terms, misuses candidate or company information, or engages in conduct that undermines the integrity of our placements. You may stop using our Services at any time by notifying us; obligations relating to fees already incurred and confidentiality survive termination.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties, and where unresolved, submitted to the courts of Nigeria with competent jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Chuuse platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the "Effective date" above whenever a change is made.
